Me personally I did like the old Rapier design a lot better...
Looks a bit like Lego now.
Performance is 90%, BUT this machine would greatly benefit aestheticly from some good engraving, and then maybe something like a copper finish,it would look totally different.
And no sharp edges;)
I actually like the way it looks....but looks aren't where it's at for me. Really like the red, can't wait to get to know that machine right there!

I think cary was going with performance and a machine the is easy to keep clean as compared to others-your health dept would love this machine as it does not have any nooks and crannies to try to keep clean-also you can pull the motor and autoclave the frames, internals. Customers love a clean simple looking tool to be used on them. lol beat up rust buckets are out:p
You can get them in any color you want. I'm a mechanic and I like the mechanical look of tools. I was going for the tool look of a power tool.
hey cary do you do these in a liner version .ive got one of your rapier liners and it is awsome ...i love the look of this machine..
I like it!

Yes I can set it up custom for lining only if that's what you want.
Basic and simple... Like an semi-ugly girl with a lovely personality.
I like simple looks...it's what's inside that makes everything else tolerable. Bling on the outside and a hollow interior...no thanks.

So, I have to ask. How does this compare to the rapier II? Looks aside ( it does look heavier ) but does it line like a rapier? Or is this more like a Treasure Chest II? Not that that is a bad thing, the TC is a fantastic machine. A bigger vice and a vertical RCA and I would have never given it up.
It actually weighs less than the Rapier II. It is all my machines in one. Took everything that is good and put them in one machine. I could'nt use the vertical RCA because you have to pull the motor out to change the different stroke lengths.
My request might be a pain in your ass but, would you be willing to make a video of how you change the stroke on this machine? It might sell some machines if we can understand how easy it is to work w/.
