You can't make everyone happy. There it will be always whiners that no matter what you do they won't be happy. Usually these are the ones that spend more time trying to figure out what you did wrong than tattooing. I have a gen 7 with Adjustable stroke. I believe you made a few of these. I got it directly from my bud Tony in Australia. Great machine indeed.
I recently got ahold of a Gen 1 I believe is casted Stainless. Awesome machine and still runs great.
Thanks FK ... your comments are always appreciated .. mate TJ tells we are going to see you in Sydney ... We will have the Gen8s there for you to have a play with ...
I also noticed a post about Specs on the Gen 8 ... at the moment I don't have the weight etc. but to give you a brief outline.
The Gen8 has a bigger motor than previous models it is much tourqe-e-er (if there is such a word) and apparently it hits seriously hard.
It has an adjustable give clip which is just as easy as The Whip, the difference is it will go from feather light to rock hard on the same clip.
The needle tensioner is new.
Weight wise it will be slightly heavier than The Whip & The Slide.
The full details will be up on the website as soon as the machine is available ...
We are also about 6-8 weeks away from a power supply that has been built specifically for Rotary machines (it will do coils as well) .... details on that will be made available closer to the time.
Yeah, we are doing the Show, we get there with my lady on tuesday of that week. Super Exited to see him his brother and all my friends. I don't think we ever met, but it will be a pleasure to do so and play with that Gen 8 (make sure to have one for sale for me)
see you soon!
Mate looking forward to it, I am sure Tony will put one aside for you and I know he is also keen for a catch up ... and TJ is very excited to be getting tattooed .. we'll see you there.
Halos and gen7's are my daily drivers. You guys keep up what your doing. These machines are the best I've ever used in my 18 years of tattooing!
...i used a gen 6 for like 5 years and never had a problem with the vice.
A gen 7 for about 2 years and not one problem with the vice.
